Laura Andreatta manages the internal operations of Numeria Ventures, including the firm’s Human Resources, Information Technology, and research functions. She is a statistician, operations expert, and program manager who has successfully applied her extensive quantitative background in various settings, industries, and countries.
Laura spent the majority of her career as the Director of Research in the graduate department of Tourism Economics of the University of Venice. In this capacity, she managed research projects for a variety of clients operating in the service industry, ranging from private regional firms with less than $100 million in revenue to the multi-billion dollar European Commission.
Laura has also served as the Assistant Director for Exchange and Language Programs at the Fisher College of Business of The Ohio State University. In this role, she coordinated student exchanges with 30 partner institutions around the globe and managed language learning programs for graduate students and business leaders.
Earlier in her career, Laura worked as a Marketing Analyst at OVS S.p.A, one of the largest apparel retailers in Italy, providing executive management with decision-making instruments derived from statistical and economic analysis.
Laura holds a Laurea (the equivalent of a combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Science) in Statistics and Economics, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Padova, Italy, and a Master of Science in Economics and Management from the University of Venice. She was the recipient of an Erasmus scholarship, a one-year exchange which she spent at the Department of Statistics and Modelling Science of the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, U.K.). She is fluent in English and Italian and conversant in German and Spanish, and is the author of numerous statistical publications. She lives in Boulder, Colorado, with her husband and young son.
